Engineering Β· Digital Fabrication β€” Bamenda, Cameroon

Custom parts and machines, engineered right here in Cameroon.

From 3D-printed components to solar agri-machines and recycled filament, NestX designs, builds, and repairs the hardware your business runs on β€” without the importing, the long waits, or the parts that never quite fit.

Ch. 01 β€” Capabilities

What we build

Five ways we turn ideas into hardware.

One local workshop for design, fabrication, and repair β€” so you skip the importing and get parts that fit the way you actually work.

01 / FABRICATION

Digital Fabrication

Laser cutting, CNC routing, and 3D printing for custom parts, enclosures, signage, and prototypes β€” accurate, repeatable, and ready in days, not weeks.

02 / HARDWARE

Custom Hardware & 3D Printers

We don't just use machines β€” we build them. Locally engineered 3D printers and bespoke hardware designed to survive heat, dust, and unstable power.

Build something custom
03 / AGRITECH

Smart Agri-Tech

Solar incubators, soil-analysis kits, and solar cold storage that cut post-harvest losses and earn their keep on real Cameroonian farms.

Explore agri-tech
04 / CIRCULAR

Circular Manufacturing

We turn post-consumer plastic into durable PLA and PETG filament β€” a cheaper, greener alternative to imported spools for labs, schools, and print farms.

05 / TRAINING

Training & Makerspace

Hands-on programs in 3D printing, CAD, and electronics, plus flexible access to our tools and mentorship β€” skills that stay in the community.

Ch. 02 β€” Circular

Circular manufacturing

A plastic bottle becomes the part you print.

Sustainability you can hold. We close the loop locally β€” turning waste that would sit in a landfill into filament that runs in your printer.

STEP 01

Collect

Post-consumer bottles and failed prints are gathered and sorted by type β€” PLA and PETG.

STEP 02

Shred

Clean plastic is shredded into uniform flakes, ready to be melted down.

STEP 03

Extrude

Flakes are dried and extruded into consistent 1.75 mm filament on calibrated lines.

STEP 04

Print

You print durable parts with filament made down the road β€” not shipped across the world.

Ch. 03 β€” Why local

Why NestX

Imported hardware is slow, costly, and rarely built for here.

We're the local engineering partner that designs for African conditions first β€” so the things you buy actually last.

Local & fast

Design, build, and repair in Bamenda. No customs, no shipping delays, no waiting on a container.

Made to fit

Hardware engineered for real heat, dust, and power cuts β€” not a catalogue spec sheet.

Affordable & repairable

Robust, easy to maintain, and priced for local budgets. When something breaks, we fix it.

Skills that stay

Every project trains local engineers, so capability stays in the community β€” not dependency.

Ch. 04 β€” Who we are

Who we are

Building capacity, not dependency β€” from Bamenda.

NestX was founded to close local technology gaps with sustainable, accessible engineering.

We're local engineers, makers, and educators proving that high-tech manufacturing can thrive far from the world's established hubs β€” by turning local challenges into design opportunities.

  • Capacity buildingTraining the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurs.
  • Local resilienceSourcing materials locally β€” especially plastic waste β€” to build what we make.
  • Affordable innovationDesigning systems that are robust, easy to maintain, and within reach.
